With the search and filter module you can place a module on any of your pages (Custom Pages) in the JobShop that displays jobs pre-filtered according to specific criteria relevant to the context of the page. This gives candidates directly relevant job offers without having to actively search themselves – and allows you to target your audiences even more precisely.
The module therefore enables you to create tailor-made pages for different target groups, job categories, occupational groups (clusters), locations, (sub-)companies and entities. You can also set up dedicated campaign pages with a clear focus on your open positions. This creates "mini JobShops" within your JobShop, which increase the application rate through contextual and personalized presentation.
This guide walks you through step by step how to set up the search and filter module on your pages in the JobShop and use it optimally in your recruiting activities.
Would you like to first learn more about the search and filter functionalities in general?
The basic functions of the search and filter module are identical to those of the search and filter page. All information about these functions can be found in our help article on the search and filter page:
Search and Filter Page: Effective Navigation for Your Candidates
Benefits of the Search and Filter Module on Your Custom Pages
With the search and filter module you can strategically place relevant jobs exactly where your target groups are:
- Higher conversion rate
Targeted placement and pre-filtering increase the likelihood of applications. - Better candidate experience
Candidates find exactly the jobs relevant to them without any detours. - Targeted outreach to different audiences
Create specific pages for job categories, occupational groups (clusters), locations, (sub-)companies, entities or for campaign-specific pages. - More structure & clarity
Instead of a general job search, visitors immediately see a selection tailored to them.
- Flexibility & easy management
You can configure the module individually for each page of your JobShop and adjust it at any time.
Optimizing the Candidate Journey
With the search and filter module, you make the application process as simple, personalized, and efficient as possible for your candidates. At the same time, as a recruiter you gain a powerful tool to flexibly adapt your recruiting strategy and place your open positions exactly where they have the highest relevance. Candidates don't need to search for suitable jobs first – they receive a pre-filtered selection directly that matches the content of the page. This reduces bounce rates and encourages faster decision-making.

Want to see the search and filter module in action?
No problem. In our demo we have already prepared various use cases that can serve as inspiration and templates for you:
| Custom Pages | Example pages |
|---|---|
| Target groups Pages specifically tailored to certain target groups. (e.g. "Students", "Experienced professionals") | |
| Categories Pages relating to a specific job category or area of the business. (e.g. "IT", "Marketing", "Trades") | |
| Cluster (Occupations) Pages focusing on a group of similar jobs, typically for positions advertised in large volumes across multiple locations. (e.g. "Retail sales associate", "Field sales representative") | |
| Locations Pages presenting specific locations or branches of a company. (e.g. "Berlin location", "Hamburg logistics center") | |
| (Sub-)Companies Pages introducing individual entities, brands, or companies within the JobShop. (e.g. "Our subsidiary X", "Brand X") |
Tip:
If you want to create Custom Pages for e.g. job categories, start with a single example page that you save as an unpublished draft in the page manager. In the next step, gather feedback from your colleagues. Once you are satisfied, use the duplicate function for pages in the page manager. This way you can use the draft as a template for all further job categories at any time, adjust the content without having to rebuild the structure, and save time when creating the individual pages.
Introduction, Setup and Pre-Filtering
In this video you will learn step by step how to set up the search and filter module on your Custom Pages, make optimal use of the filter options for pre-filtering, and display your job offers in a targeted way. Watch now and optimize your candidate journey in just a few minutes!
Linking and Embedding in the Candidate Journey
For the search & filter module to reach its full potential, you should embed it strategically in your candidate journey. This allows you to link Custom Pages, campaign pages, or specific job areas with relevant job offers in a targeted way. In this video we show you how to position the module ideally, use links effectively, and thereby increase the application rate.
Tips:
- Candidates expect clear and visible navigation when they visit a page. When the search & filter module is placed near the top, they can immediately see that they can find suitable job offers right there – without having to scroll or search for them. This increases the usage rate and reduces the bounce rate.
- A consistent user experience is crucial for a smooth candidate journey. If the module is placed multiple times on a page, it can make navigation more confusing and unsettle candidates. A single, clearly visible placement ensures focus and clear navigation.
